Grade 1 Heavy Duty Surface Door Closer w/ Tri-Pack Arm (regular, top jamb and parallel with parallel arm bracket) as standard. Optional arms available for additional upcharge. Specify when ordering.
Full Plastic Cover (FC) as standard
Pinion Cap (5901) included as standard.
Door thickness: 1-3/8 in. to 2-1/4 in.
Fasteners: Self-reaming, self-tapping wood and machine screws, sex nuts and bolts
Specify sex nuts and bolts for correct door thickness when ordering.
Springs: One piece seamless steel spring tube, Double heat-treated steel-tempered springs, Precision-machined, heat-treated steel piston
Valves: Adjustable backcheck, sweep, and latching valves as standard. Delayed Action Valve available for additional upcharge. Specify (STD) or (DLY) when ordering.
All valves are staked

To maximize hinge life and assist in achieving ADA compliance, Hager recommends the use of anti-friction or ball bearing hinges with our door closer products.
The recommended temperatures for prolonged closer use is between -40 degrees and 150 degrees F
